This 45-minute class starts with tap as we explore basic tap moves, then we learn ballet terminology as we learn to dance with our arms and legs. Props are used in every class to increase creativity, hand eye coordination and for fun.
This style is the foundation for all dance. In ballet class you will learn proper alignment, safe stretching and build strength while learning all the appropriate ballet vocabulary. You will learn adagios (slow dances), petite allegros (quick jumpy dances) and grand allegros (big leap combinations).
Tap works on rhythms and syncopated steps. Making music with your tap shoes is lots of fun.
